Simon Blunt: The Trainee

Insurance is dull, isn't it. Not when you' a broker at Lloyd's. Simon Blunt takes us behind the scenes of that famous establishment and whilst tracking Simon in his early days as a trainee, we witness the way deals are done with little more than just verbal agreement. One such deal goes wrong when $22.6 million of jewellery, en route to a Saudi princess, is stolen only days after Lloyd's had insured it.

Whilst agreeing to honour the claim, Lloyd's sets out to track down the jewellery and the thieves, but the search is complicated further when one of the couriers is found murdered. Lloyd's, together with police from the UK and Europe, along with. a private security join forces to solve the mystery, but will their meticulous efforts be sufficient to recover the jewellery and expose the mastermind behind the theft.
